To
those who remember me, “Hello” and nice to be in contact with you even
though it is through this mailing. To those who don’t know me, I was the
former Hudson Division Director (N2FF’s job) for 11 years and Vice-Director
for 9 years. My tenure in the Division has left me with many fond memories and
many good friends.
The office of Vice-Director is very important since
it is the stepping stone to the Directorship. The relationship between the
Vice-Director and Director will reflect how well the Division is run. The
Vice-Director is there to observe the Board meetings and to provide any advice
that the Director requires in making those decisions that reflect on Amateur
Radio for years in the future.
I have been fortunate to have kept in contact with
the present Director, N2FF, and find the Division is in very good hands. This is
due to the excellent working relationship between Frank and J.P. Kleinhaus,
W2XX, his Vice-Director.
W2XX is again seeking the job as Vice-Director of
the Hudson Division. May I recommend that when you receive your ballot a vote
for J.P. will continue this excellent relationship and insure the future of the
Hudson Division.
