As your opponent for Vice Director four years ago I have had a unique
opportunity to assess what you have done in the job - from my vantage point
of being narrowly defeated by you back then.  I now can say that I heartily
endorse your run for re-election to the position.  I am no less interested in
amateur radio issues than I was back then and continue to believe that the
league needs leadership with your energy, intelligence and freshness of
